About 20 years ago, I started plant propagation, specialising in the production of the Tonda Gentile varieties (syn. Tonda Gentile delle Langhe and/or Tonda Gentile trilobata).
The multiplication is deliberately carried out in an area that is not purely corilicola, in Canale in the province of Cuneo, to avoid possible phytosanitary contamination. Today, my nursery is located in fertile, sandy soils at the bottom of the valley, which guarantee excellent development of the root system. It spreads over an area of about 6 hectares with the presence of about 15 thousand stumps of mother plants with a production capacity of 80 to 100 thousand layers that, among the various types (1-2-3 years old), go on to produce about 50 thousand first choice plants. It is a nursery that pays particular attention to varietal research and all cultivation techniques aimed at always obtaining the best quality.
There are much bigger realities, but my aim is to offer my loyal customers a high quality product.
I work purely on a pre-booking basis as I am unable to meet further requests once I have exhausted my availability.
